Frequently Asked Questions

I have no experience at all, are these classes ok for me?

Yes!! We love having new guests - our beginners classes are perfect for first timers, you don't need any experience. You will learn the basic fundamentals of Muay Thai and Kickboxing and have fun in the process! This is a great workout for anyone wanting to try something new.

Don't be nervous about coming in for the first time, our current members are very supportive and friendly - everyone started at the beginning, just like you.

Do I need to bring my own gloves and shin guards?

No, we have spare gloves and shin guards on hand for anyone to borrow if they don't have their own.

Do you offer guest passes?

Yes, we have casual visit passes for guests (see casual membership under "memberships"), alternatively you can try a class for free or speak to us about additional options that may be more suitable to your specific needs.

Do you offer a trial membership?

Yes, we can offer two days for free as a trial membership, so you can see if our gym is the right fit for you.

I have done some training, can I try the sparring class?

We ask that anyone wanting to try the sparring class come to at least three alternative training sessions beforehand. Head Coach Luke will need to see if you will be ok to participate in sparring prior to this class and give approval. This is for the safety of both the new participant and the fighters already attending this class.

I have Fitness Passport, what does that cover?

We accept Fitness Passport for gym entry and cheaper private sessions. If you wish to participate in unlimited classes, an additional $15 weekly direct debit is requested to cover this 'specialty' martial arts training.

Are my children allowed to come with me?

Unfortunately, children are not allowed to sit and watch the classes due to space restrictions and safety.
